Yes, this theme is not working for me in the least, and I have a redesign ready to hop (haha sry, I had to) but I haven’t coded it yet, but will do soon…

A new look for me

It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s better than the no-theme look I was rockin’ earlier today.

Aid for Aussie Bushfire Victims (and cheap web books)

Thursday, February 12th, 2009

The bushfires that swept through country Victoria in the past week have left thousands homeless – entire towns have been razed to the ground and people have lost many, if not all, of their loved ones. In a country that is accustomed to heatwaves and seasonal bushfires, this is one of the worst that has ever been seen.

How you can help

Sitepoint, a technical book publisher based in Victoria, and are running a special promotion to raise money to help bushfire victims – they are offering 5 (FIVE!) books for the price of one ($29.95). Books offered include titles on AJAX, PHP, XHTML, CSS and Ruby, and 100% of the proceeds go to help bushfire victims.

Don’t wait because this offer ends on Friday – Get a great deal on tech books and help bushfire victims. Click here to go to the Sitepoint sale.

I heart FaceBook

Saturday, June 9th, 2007

Hello to my friends who are checking out my website because of the link on FaceBook. I’d just like to say that personally, I like FaceBook way better than MySpace. I like the fact that you can add people you actually know. I never really saw the point of having masses of MySpace friends that you never interacted with anyway. Another aspect I like is the limited use as a mass-marketing machine for spammers. Hooray!
